We SUPPORT the 70 Indonesian workers formerly employed by Hong Kong Teakwood Works (Taiwan), Ltd.

We request that Lec Chuen Int’l Development Co., Ltd. REFUND the excess of the broker’s fee collected in advance for a two-year contract.

We DEPLORE the blackmailing tactics of Hong Kong Teakwood Works, Ltd., for seizing unlawfully the savings, salaries, passport, and airplane ticket of the workers.
We DENOUNCE Lec Chuen Int’l Development Co., Ltd., and Hong Kong Teakwood Works, Ltd., for using such unjust methods to threaten and pressure the workers to give up their rights.

We APPEAL to the government of Taiwan to CONTINUE their efforts in protecting the rights of migrant workers, and to use all possible legal means to punish the corrupt brokers and employers who are exploiting and abusing foreign workers in Taiwan.
Lastly, we ASK that the government of Taiwan take actions which promote strongly RESPECT FOR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS in Taiwan.

WE SUPPORT THE 70 INDONESIAN WORKERS IN VOICING THEIR RIGHTS!!!
