Verse 2. Why did the shepherds leave their sheep in the night?

Why did just the shep-herds hear the an-gel's song?

Why did the shep-herds wor-ship and bow be-fore a child?

God is with us.

Verse 3. So we are gathered here to worship THEE.

We are chil-dren an-noin-ted, his prophets are we.

Gathered here to-ge-ther to meet HIM that way:

in bread and wine and in you and me.
